1. Introductions and Offense Summary
Each member introduces themselves, gives a brief personal history, and provides overview of offense, arrest and charges.
2. Maintaining PPD Compliance Review of rules and expectations and open group discussion of problems and solutions for compliance.
3. Offense Cycle Discussions of how triggers, negative thoughts, and dysfunctional coping led to offense.
4. Denial and Responsibility Taking. Types of denial and how they can lead to reoffending, and how taking responsibility improves outcomes.
5. Behavior Modification Overcoming negative thoughts and behaviors.
6. Emotional Wellbeing. Dealing with emotional dysregulation and improving stress and distress tolerance.
7. Criminal Relapse Prevention. Identifying triggers, and learning from "slips."
8. Addictions. Overview of addiction stages for alcohol, drugs, gambling, porn etc... Abstinence skills building.
9. Anger Management. Identifying root causes, recurrent anger responses, assertiveness techniques, and relaxation skills.
10. Relationship and Supportive Others. Relationship basics, conflict resolution, and problem solving.
11. Personal Goals and Aftercare. Identify wellbeing goals for emotional health, relationships, physical, intellectual growth, and occupational success.
12. Process Group. Review content and individual progress.
