Santa Fe Psychotherapy and Consulting is proud to offer the revitalized High Desert intensive outpatient treatment for substance abuse to the Santa Fe and surrounding area. High Desert was originally opened in 2006 and services were halted in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2024, we reopened High Desert to help the community and offer a comprehensive and, primarily, in-person intensive outpatient experience. High Desert (HDIOP) offers board approved Matrix Model 16 week treatment to individuals struggling with any type of substance use disorder. Our program is recognized by the State of New Mexico and is covered by all New Mexico Medicaid Managed Care Organizations and most commercial/private Managed Care Organizations. Santa Fe Psychotherapy is now proud to offer a partnership with Longview Recovery Center to provider sober living and transitional living opportunities to clients that meet criteria to be in High Desert Intensive Outpatient Program and Comprehensive Community Support Services. This partnership began in late 2025 and pairs an advanced medical detox facility with comprehensive outpatient services.
